General Information (from the RSCDS website):

“This is best described as a course for those who are already leading/teaching, or about to take on a group, but who do not wish to sit the RSCDS teaching exams.

Attendance on the course will result in a Record of Completion of a course in basic SCD Teaching skills.

All the elements listed are useful skills for any teacher. Those seeking to do this course may not require all of them in the same depth, so the mostrelevant can be selected for delivery, dependingon the needs of the course members.”

Dance Achievement Award (Intermediate level)

RSCDS Exeter Branch is planning to re-run the Dancing Achievement Award course at

Intermediate level, following the successful course in September/October 2016. This is a formal course set up by the RSCDS, and the full syllabus is available on their website. The course and its associated assessment/award is open to all dancers looking to develop their dancing.

The teacher is Duncan Brown, and we can guarantee an enjoyable course!

There may be a chance for a few people to attend the course without taking the assessment, but preference will be given to those signing up for the award.
